Aw manz, I don't think I'm going to be able to go to AX this year. Need a hotel room, gah! I don't have time to hold a proper part-time job this summer (summer school), and selling at cons is essentially where I get all my petty cash for the remaining year. Gah! Gah gah gah! I want to go! There is a scheduling complication concerning my dad's birthday party that also disrupts the AX plan, but hopefully only minimally. As I do not necessarily want to go into more depth about it, let's just say it's a very frustrating and poorly planned affair.

I saw an ad on craigslist for a Davis artist who can illustrate a Spanish workbook that would be used across a few UCs. I'm sending in a little application, though I doubt they would want my mangoo drawings... but I never know until I try, right? It ultimately pays $500-1000, which I could definitely use, heh.

Tentative planses. Starting with: this weekend! That plan being to make more plans, haha. I was also supposed to go to SF for the gay parade on Saturday, but I lost my ride (sigh).

June 28: Sun - Physics review session at 5pm
June 29: Mon - Physics quiz
June 30: Tue morning - finish all prints to send to printers, if going to AX
July 2: Thu French Quarter - some band Craig invited me to see... will go if AX is no-go; if I go to AX, thinking about going home during the afternoon
July 3: Fri, Jason D. is leaving the country. Second to last show, tomorrow. Must remember to write/make him something. Attend his show if I don't go to AX, leave for airport that morning if I am at AX.
July 3 & 4! Fri/Sat - Tentative Anime Expo attendance!
July 4: Sat - Dad's bday thing
July 11: Sat - Sac. Zine Symposium. Oh, I just realized! Second Saturday at Sac is on the same weekend! Sweet!
July 15: Wed!!! HARRY POTTER MOVIE BOOYAKAA; also, the 5 month mark for Craigstine.
July 17/18: HARRY POTTER CONVENTION, THE SAME WEEKEND!!!! :) :) :) :) :)

misc things to do: do commissions, draw gifts for ***** and **, find gift for ********, look into Kaplan classes, look into volunteer work. Register for AX (maybe) and HP con.

I complained to Craig that he never supports me by appearing at places that I attend (Relay for Life, Farmer's Market, Fanime) even though I'm always with him to go see his stupid concerts, but it sort of backfired on me since now he wants to come with me to this Harry Potter thing. Inherently it's not a bad thing, it's actually a very nice gesture... but it just makes things a little harder for me since I wanted to go around and meet people. Also to bathe in beautiful Harry Potter slash, HAHA. I just don't think he'd understand my love for boys' love! I would rather die than tell him I like Snarry. Ha ha... how on earth would I even begin to explain that?... I'm curious to hear any related stories, if any of y'all got any, haha.

Speaking of the HP con, I don't know if I want to try attending the whole weekend (sommat like $130 for reg???) or just a day (~$55). So expensive! Money is so tight that it hurrrrttsss. :[ I might be helping out with an art panel at Azkatraz, but the timing is a little odd. I really want to make it, but I just don't know if the added 80$ is worth it to try and come on both Saturday AND Sunday.... gah, but it's a once in a lifetime thing! I should go, yes? Craig's tight money situation also makes me feel awkward in this regard because now I feel somewhat responsible for which day we choose to go, since I don't want him to feel like he's wasted money. I think I take on too much of a burden.

Meh. Sometimes I'm extremely attracted to Craig, and sometimes I just want to beat the shit out of him. I have to get better at communicating though, it's a large factor of my discontent. I have an appointment for birth control this Thursday even though we haven't explicitly talked about that yet. I get spooked out of talking to him about certain things. We should though. I'm kinda scared. Apparently, this appointment also involves a pap smear? And supposedly, you should get one once you start being sexually active and/or by the age of 21, whichever comes first. But like, if no intercourse has happened yet, what's the point of a pap smear? Ick. The internetz has yielded mixed results on this question. I just don't want foreign things up my va-jay-jay, yadidimean. Gross gross gross

SO. I went to Fanime last last weekend (eheh, this is a little bit late). The last time I went to a con was Fanime last year, and absence has indeed made the heart grow fonder! This was probably one of the more positive con experiences I've had in a while.

RANDOM, but I just had the most brilliant idea.
